From looking at current film company idents i can see that most of the backgrounds are plain with the logo of the company featuring prominently. I will use this for my ident, with a little animation focused on the name of the company. They are also all quite short, so even if I produce a longer ident I will produce a shorter version to be able to be used before a film.
